Owning your locks
-
- Products used on the hair extensions as maintenance at home is completely at the consumers choice. We advise against colour hair extensions, this includes toning such as purple shampoos, semi/demi hair dies as the hair extensions do not have a blood supply to maintain the natural oils needed to reconstruct the hairs cortex.
- Sunbeds/saunas/abroad holidays can take negative effect to the hair extensions, there is aftercare advice to follow on the tabs in the menu of this site.
- Sun creams can discolour the hair, please use mineral sunscreens that do NOT contain ingredients – Avebenzone (Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane) and Octocrylene.
- Hair discoloration is inevitable and will occur over a period of time – this is not a manufacturing fault.
- Hair extensions can last anywhere between 4-12+ months depending on application and maintenance. The period of time is down to the consumers ritual.
